The smoke around us thins out, prevailing you on the other side. The line drawn clearly. And at this point I am hesitant to cross said line, the barrier between us. You can tell I know, the precaution in my words, my actions should be evident. You were my enemy as well, amoung the others I was fighting was you, with my words. And there will always be the real me in the background, crawling, ready to jump at the second I feel wronged. Ready to pounce on your marble skin and drip acid on you, let my voice spill threats into your ear. But then I remember what you said. We are in this together. So I will pace in the back of my mind, holding my tongue. But only for so long.
